I’m attempting to setup an Anybus-X gateway (AB7677-F) to allow a CANopen network to pull data from our PLC (AB 1769-L37ERM).

I have the module added to our Studio 5000 project but receive a faulted notification 16#00005 Bad Class. Below are screenshots of my configuration.

Please advise, we want the PLC to act as the master on the EIP network and the CANopen device on the engine to act as the master on the CAN network.

Hello,

You will need a Ethernet/ip adapter to CANopen Master gateway such as the AB7306. The AB7677 will not work for you application.
