I have a A8NECT-2P EtherCat Apater for Mitsubishi A800 inverter. I am unable to update the firm ware. I have downloaded and installed Anybus Trabsport Provider and Firmware Manager II Setup. I usally use a VM for all drive and PLC work, because we use several different types of PLCs and the software doesn’t play nice.

I use a USB to Ethernet adapter, drives are installed. However it won’t show up int Firmware Manger options. If I install Firmware Manger on my base system. Again I can’t find the adapter.

You will want to contact the manufacturer of the device the unit is embedded in, in this case Mitsubishi.

How to update device can vary depending on the device they are in. Furthermore, I do not see A8NECT-2P list as one of our part number and photos I found online make me question if this is an HMS device. It might be a custom module built for Mirsubishi.
