I have an AB7007-C but do not have the cable that came with it. I need to set up the device, is there any way to set it up other than using the RJ11 configuration port on the device? Via ethernet or DB9 serial port? I can ping the device and use FTP to see the ethcfg.cfg file but am having trouble changing the IP address, etc.
You can use the HMS IPconfig tool to set the IP address, but in order to download the configuration from the Anybus Configuration Manager to the AB7007 you will need the included RJ11 to DB9 connector or you will need to make one.
