I have found in manuals about setting up configuration on Anybus module itself and how to set up my rslogix program to talk to the Anybus but I am not seeing a manual that strictly helps with the programming aspect and how data allocation is sent and received by the PLC. Can if there is a manual can i please be pointed to it

I would review the documentation of the AB7072.
Functionally, it is the same unit. Hardware just contains 2 ethernet ports instead of 1.
