AB7318 Transmit Error

Hi Team,

I am new to using Anybus Gateways and hope for some advise.

We are using an Anybus AB7318 between a Rockwell PLC and Can device. With the setup we have done we get all the Consume data but no Produce data. I can see that the PLC is sending the data to the Can Identifier within the Gateway but the Subnet Light is flashing red and the system shows Idle mode.

Please could you advise on this. I have attached the .hcg file for reference.

Hello,

Are you going through all the steps to set the device into run mode? I see you have the control word enabled and trigger bytes setup for the produce transactions. Make sure you are setting the communicator into run mode and then updating the produce trigger to send data.
Section 4.4 of the user guide has more info on the control word. Bit zero needs to be set true to be in run mode.
