I need to connect 3 Kinetix 5500 ethernet drives on an etherCAT network. I´m not sure if the AB7699 can do this connection but if I´m correct, it has to be ethernet Scanner in order to get the information from the K5500 drives and give this information to the Controller as an EtherCAT slave. I´m I correct?

Hello @Alfredo,
The AB7699 is a Ethernet/IP scanner and can make establish connections to Ethernet/IP IO adapters/slaves. Here is a screen shot showing the connection settings you will need to set to the device. 
They key parts that you will need are the IO sized and the input and output instances.
