ABCC M40 located in TOSS Heat Controller

Hi Everyone,

I’m currently experiencing a problem where I can ping the device on my network and I can access the device through its IP address but I have a fault on my PLC : FwdOpen-Response ( error 785). Has anyone come across this issue and does anyone have a solution?

It sounds like an Ethernet/IP connection error. Did the OEM of the TOSS provide you with an EDS file and connection instructions, such as the Input and Output sizes?

Turns out the PLC didn’t import the EDS file correctly and I had to change a few of the parameters manually before the TOSS Controller would accept the communication. It’s all sorted now.
