Anybus CC40 Port Mirroring

Hi there,

I’m working on a Anybus CC40 EtherNet/IP connected to a Rockewell PLC via a non-industrial switch ( no way to mirror traffic on a specific port).

I want to acquire the traffic between the ABCC and the PLC but without a managed switch, that provides port mirroring functionality, this is impossbile (since switch routes data to a specific port).

My question is: since the ABCC40 has two ethernet ports, is it possbile to configure the ABCC40 to forward all traffic on port 1 to port 2?

Hi Federico,

That is not possible on our module. The module has only a simple switch and no data mirroring could be done here.
you can use a switch which we also always use : NETGEAR Model no: GS105E
