Hi,

We’re trying to use the Wireless Bolt to connect a PC to a wireless network. We have the Bolt connected to the network with a static IP. But we’re not sure what network settings we should have on the PC. Should it be the same static IP we are using for the Bolt?

In this case you are going to want to follow these instructions.

Most likely, you have skipped the step of entering the MAC address of the PC’s ethernet network adapter in the Cloned MAC Address field.

Thanks. And on the PC, what IP address would we use? The same static IP as we used for the Bolt or a different one?

You can use the same one, but to be honest I don’t think it matters as it’s creating a bridge between the bolt and the PC’s network adapter, so to the rest of the network it appears that the bolt is just a network adapter on the PC.
