Can't connect thru eCatcher

It appears to be a firewall issue, but please let me know if you have trouble connecting from the alternative network so we can look at other possibilities. You can respond directly to this email, or give me a call back.

  • He is going to try connecting from another network

Unable to connect, but in talking o our IT guy, even the wireless connection I was using uses our firewall…

He’s investigating our firewall settings now.

Kyle, So I loaded the e-catcher software on a different laptop and then from off of our corporate network, was able to connect to the ewon no problem.

So does this mean the firmware doesn’t need to be upgraded?

Did you try to connect using e-catcher when you were on the phone with me?

Hi Dan,

I tried briefly and couldn’t connect, but it turns out I was having an issue on my PC so it could’ve been that.

If you can use it with the current firmware than that’s fine. It will be a project to upgrade it because it’s so far behind so in this case may not be worth the trip.
