We need to change the ipconfig for an HMS-en2mb-r in our plant. Can we do this without having to download?
You could change the IP address of the linking device using the IP Config Utility, which doesn’t require a restart, but you’d also have to change it in the PLC program. If you can do that without a restart, it should work, but it might show an error that the config file in the linking device doesn’t match the config file in the PLC without a download. It should still work though.
