I have assigned the AB7078 and IP address. The HMS IPConfig tool sees the device with the assigned IP address, and I can ping the AB7078. I named the AB7078 AB7078 and in the Siemens PLC I also it the device name AB7078. The AB7078 LED 1 is flashing a single red flash which according to hms-scm-1202-033.pdf means station name error. When I dragged in the GSD file Step 7 complained that it has full support up to V2.31, and the supplied GSD is V2.32. Do you have any advice?
What version of Step 7 do you have? You should be able to update the module catalog:
The version of Step 7 is 5.5 SP4
I did as that link suggests. When I loaded the GSD file is mentioned something about the version number of the GSD file and claimed that the maximum version number Step 7 v5.5 SP4 supports is 2.31.

I have same trouble with AB7078.
I used same GSD (last one from web sites) “GSDML-V2.32-HMS-ABC_PROFINET_IRT2-20161031.xml”
And my module is not connected to PROFINET …available but different version. LED 1 Falshing RED on the module.
Simatic manager is version 5.6 HF1 and CPU 416-3 PN/DP
