Connection build up failed when connecting to Anybus

Hi guys,

I’m using a generic serial to usb cable to connect my laptop to the anybus communicator profinet device ab17013C. but I’m getting the message below on CAS suite.
is there a specific usb proggramable/ configuration cable that comes with the anybus device that im specifically supposed to use?

Hi @Bus_alternative1,

It looks like you are using the wrong software. The AB7013 is programmed using the Anybus Configuration Manager, which you can download from the Product Download page.

CAS Suite is not HMS software, so for questions about it, please contact the developer.
