In the eWON Flexy BASIC IDE (New), there is a very annoying issue were the editor is constantly flashing. The screenshot below shows the 2 states it goes between. It flashes to the greyed out state about once a second, and is grey for about half a second.
Firstly, it’s really not very nice on the eyes and difficult to concentrate, secondly when it’s in the greyed out state you can’t type anything, so if you are typing code it will either freeze or miss characters you typed while it was greyed out.
Usually I have to copy it to an external editor, but is annoying navigating through the different sections. Also this doesn’t always happen so there must be a reason.
I have tried turning autorun off, although I would prefer to leave it on then just use the slider (I know this is not what autorun is for). If I click the ‘no entry’ stop execution sign, it doesn’t help.If I click the pause button it stops being greyed out but I can’t type, but this may be a hint to the problem. It seems like it is getting a command to run but then realising it’s not supposed to then stops again.
