Ewon COSY - error while connecting user

Hello,

I have a problem with one of our EWONs. When trying to connect from eCatcher a message appears: “Error while connecting user [38335] do device [112100]”. The only way to get EWON to accept connection is to restart it (power off/on). This happens everyday - only restart helps for some time.

I would highly recommend doing a firmware update for that device and making sure you also have the latest eCatcher version.

I am using latest version of eCatcher.

Regarding firmware upgrade: is it possible to make this upgrade remotely (for this specific eWON COSY 141)? Will my eWON be still recognized by eCatcher after such operation or it will be necessary to configure it from the beginning?

At the moment I have only remote access to it…

Because you are on such an old firmware version (v 9.0) you should not upgrade remotely. I would recommend updating on-site as soon as possible.
