Customer asked about security. I sent the Star and eWON Security paper.

Specifically asked:

  • Does the connection used for remote access use FIPS (1-40) encryption?
  • Does this EWON device utilize a security certificate? If so, how can I obtain a copy?

The eWON uses OpenVPN with the AES 256 cryptographic algorithm (industry standard) for remote access. For more information please see:
