eWON Tag Generator Not Responding

I’m trying to use the “eWON TAG GENERATOR REV 5.xlsm” file to more easily create tags and import them back into the eWON Flexy 205 that I have. The file has no problems importing the tags from the eWON (works well), but it hangs up upon trying to send it back to the eWON. The user name and password is requested, and then I just get the spinning circle with (Not Responding) for the excel application. I’ve tried it a few different times without any luck. I’ve even tried to immediately send it back after importing so that I know the formatting of the tags is correct. That also fails. Any idea what is going wrong?

  • Windows 10
  • eWON FW is 12.2s1

To recap:

  • “IMPORT FROM eWON” works perfectly
  • “SEND TO eWON” fails/freezes Excel application

Are you using admin login credentials for your eWON?
Are you able to ping and FTP into the eWON?

The excel file uses a macro to FTP a file to the eWON.

In some cases, this may be restricted by an antivirus or firewall. If you are an admin user, and are able to ping/FTP into your eWON then I would try temporarily disabling your antivirus/firewall or try another PC.
