Hi,
We have an Allen Bradley Micrologix 1400 PLC with 6 expansion modules connected. The layout is:
Slot 0: Micrologix 1400 - 20 DI, 12 DO
Slot 1: Expansion module - 32 DI
Slot 2: Expansion module - 16 DO
Slot 3: Expansion module - 4 AI
Slot 4: Expansion module - 4 AI
Slot 5: Expansion module - 4 AI
Slot 6: Expansion module - 4 AI
I’m having trouble with the addressing of the tags for the eWon. My current addressing scheme is:
Slot 0: I:0/0, I:0/1 … I:0/15, I:1/0 … I:1/3
O:0/0, O:0/1 … O:0/11
Slot 1: I:2/0, I:2/1 … I:2/15, I:3/0 … I:3/15
Slot 2: O:1/0, O:1/1 … O:1/15
Slot 3: I:4.0, I:4.1 … I:4.3
Slot 4: I:5.0, I:5.1 … I:5.3
Slot 5: I:6.0, I:6.1 … I:6.3
Slot 6: I:7.0, I:7.1 … I:7.3
However the values received don’t line up with what I would expect for each input. In addition the slot 6 tags all generate an error as “Unknown”. If anyone could offer advice about the correct addressing system for this PLC layout it would be much appreciated.
