Fail to save IP configuration Anybus AB7072-B

I am having an issue changing the IP configuration with the anybus ab7072-b. We have changed the ip address subnet that the devices reside in and when attempting to change from the web it fails. When using the ipconfig tool it saves the ip configuration and will communicate on the new IP address but after a power cycle it reverts to the previously set IP configuration that had been set serially before the devices were installed in the field. It appears that the only permanent save is through the serial port. The ipconfig tool shows that the gateways are running version 1.0. Is there an update that will fix this issue or do we have to configure each device through the serial port. Please advise.

Hello Swogan,

Unfortunately due to how the device is designed to permanently set the IP address you will need to set it via the serial programming port with ACM. This is because the config is read at startup and sets the IP address.
