I understand the big difference between 20x and 10x is 20x have capabilities of routing and 10x doesn’t. Does that mean however, I lose the ability for remote access for troubleshooting with my PLC from my PC?

The 10x series devices are not sold in the Americas region. From what I understand you are correct the 10x series does not route traffic though the VPN to the LAN. It only gives you access to the ewons web interface. This would prevent you from reaching the PLC for troubleshooting purposes.
