Flexy 201 Constantly Drops Connection on FLB 3204 Cell

I have a unit that is constantly dropping the cell connection.

Cell signal is good, I’ve changed the VPN type to TCP.

I’ve also set Idle Time Before Hanging Up = 0 and Max Outgoing Call Duration = 10080.

I saw a post where EMI was an issue and shielded ethernet cables fixed the problem, that may be the case here and I could probably get some shielded cables out to the site next week.

Here is a snippet from today:

Any other tips would be appreciated.

I have two units doing essentially the same thing, though this is the worse of the two. They have identical programming. I need both to bMOVED TO STAFF NOTE (358 KB)

Does the device seem to be going offline after work hours or does it stay online at night?

The pattern of disconnecting and reconnecting is fairly consistent throughout the day and night.

Is there a phone number I can reach you at?

Hello,

Yes, my contact number is (Hidden)

Thanks,

Hey Kyle,

Just tried to give you a call, can you let me know when you’ll be free to talk so we can set up a time? Or give us a call at 312 893 5636

I called and left a voicemail last week and yesterday. My contact info is (Hidden)

Thanks,

Kyle

Hi Kyle,

Can you try forcing to TCP and see if that seems to fix it?

Thanks,
-Tim

I have set the Flexy to TCP and rebooted, I am still having the same frequency of disconnects.

Hello,

Can you send me one more backup.tar with the support files just to check if it changed the event logs at all? I think I might need to escalate this to some colleagues in Belgium to check this one

Sorry it took so long, I had to go out onsite to download this.

Hello,

Just wanted to see if this was still an issue or if I can close this ticket

Thanks,
-Tim

Yes this has been a recurring issue and has not been resolved.

Sorry for the delay on this, I saw this error code for the GPRS, it might help to try and contact your SIM provider and see if they allow GPRS
