We are currently receiving the following error when attempting to register our Flexy unit :
We believe it might be registered to another account that we do not have access to anymore,
Are you able to remove this unit from any existing accounts?

You are correct that error indicates that the ewon is already registered to an account. You will want to login to the account it is currently attached and delete it from that account. Once it is removed you will be able to connect it the new account.
