I am trying to connect to a TP700 via it’s MPI port through my flexy205. I can easily connect to the S7300 cpu via MPI but not the comfort panel. I am connected to eCATCHER from my host machine and am able to go online with cpu through VMWARE using vmnet8 virtual enet adapter. I see the HMI’s MPI address listed in ewon config page when connected, but I cannot go online or download to the HMI because TIAPORTAL does not see it as an accessible node.
Yes but I am trying to download to HMI via an MPI connection, not Ethernet. I have an MPI card installed in my ewon and I can see the HMI’s mpi address in the eWON’s configuration page, but I cannot seem to download to it remotely.

I’ll need to check with some colleagues in Belgium to see if we’re able to connect with these devices over MPI
Unfortunately this is not possible without the Ethernet port for this device. Here’s my colleague said:

The ISOTCP => MPI is only for PLC not for HMI.
This HMI has an ethernet port normaly, so the customer must use it.
