Hi,
If you are using RS485 then the first port, s1, can have its dip switch configured for RS485 with termination or RS485 without termination.
As for the Flexy it will support Modbus RTU via RS485 when it is configured as the master. The Modbus IO server can be used for this.

You should be able to setup the modbus IO server and create tags on the flexy that will read the addresses. here is the document on modbus RTU using the io server.
