is there a working GSD Generator Tool for the Anybus CompactCom 40 PROFINET IRT IIoT Module?
I tried the GSD Generator Tool v1.7.0.0, but it is unable to create a GSD file saying
“The module connected is a Security module which is currently not supported. Please use a regular module instead.”.
I managed to get the basic functionality working by editing the demo GSD files by hand and adapt it to my application, but it is more trial and error and really time consuming.
Im not aware of a new version for the Secure module. Do you have a standard profinet module I would expect you could generate a GSD with this and use it with the secure module. You may just need to update a few parameters.
No, I don´t have a standard module, but I have a spare IIoT module.
Can I install the latest firmware of the standard module and use this?
No they do not accept the standard firmware.
