I have read the manual and setup my HMS-EN2MB-R with Siemens PAC 3200 energy meter, and now I want to read the register 1 ,but it gives me error

if I put 100 in starting register than the meter communicate and gives no error

I think you need to start at 0. Like 40000.

Offset 1 in the manual = 0 in the Anybus

ok you mean if I want read Voltage V offset 1 then I have to set the starting address in any bus 40000 and element 1

Yes correct. You may also need to change the ‘Data Encoding’ field to get the proper byte swapping if the numbers do not come out right. Is it working now?

After Setup my HMS-EN2MB-R ,I am successfully read the IP address of the meter through register 630002.

but if I want to read the line voltage Va-n,.as per the manual the address is 1, so how to read the address through HMS, I have tried 40001 & 40002 but its showing illegal data error.
