I was told you can setup HMS-EN2MB-R to grab real data type but I can’t find anything in installation guide on how to do so. Is there a way to do this as I don’t want to have to scale and use dint data type?

You can configure the data type in the trans action to 32 bits reading or writing two modbus registers. This will create one tag in the tag generator but it is limited to a DINT data type. You will need to convert it to a real tag in the PLC.
