Hi Derek,
The Cosy 131 is not compatible with token ring networking. A special type of bridge or router would need to be used to connect a TR network with an ethernet network. See question 3.2 especially in this FAQ: https://stason.org/TULARC/networking/lans-token-ring/index.html
