How to push data from Ewon's LAN to Company's LAN via Talk2M?

Hi all,

I have some problem when trying to connect PLC to PC through Ewon cosy 131.
The devices of the Ewon’s LAN cannot see the IP address of the PC in the Company’s LAN.

Do you have any suggest or information? Please, help me.

Hello,

You will need to set the Cosy NAT1:1 up to allow the PC to communicate with the PLC. You can find the guide in the post below:

I tried NAT and that seems to only allow the PC (at the WAN) to see the PLC (at the Ewon’s LAN).
I mean how does the PLC see the IP address of the PC behind Talk2M?

Hello,

The PLC will not be able to see the remote computer IP. The VPN tunnel is not a straight tunnel from Remote PC to Ewon device. The Ewon device creates a tunnel with our Talk2m servers which routes the data to the remote PC. In turn, the PLC will not be able to physically address the remote PC.

You can enable internet so that the PLC can communicate with the Internet side, but it won’t be able to access the IP of the remote PC.

I found a few documents that mention Flexy instead of Cosy. With 1 VPN server and 1 VPN client will probably solve my problem.
What do you think about this?

This is the information that I want to mention. In that they use Flexy. I’m not sure if Cosy 131 can do the same?
