How to set powerlink node address when using 16b parallel mode?

I’m designing a carrier board for the Anybus CompactCom B40-1 for a powerlink application.
DIP1 is used to set the powerlink node address, but when using parallel mode the DIP1 pins are used by address1-7 and WEH.
How is the powerlink node address set?

Hi @Chris_HDW ,

You can’t use both the DIP1 and 16-bit parallel. The Node ID would need to be set by the host application.

I am not sure the node ID would be set with the DIP1. Looking a the manual it looks like this can be used to set byte 3 of the Ip address.

Your design guide says DIP1 sets the Powerlink node address on pg 32

Sorry you are right, it would be used after the IP address is set. You are still limited by 16bit Parallel mode using those pins, so you would need to set the node id from the application. Besides the DIP1 you can also set the node ID via the configuration object.
