HTTP direct connection Failure

I keep having “HTTP direct connection failure” when trying to do Talk2M configuration.

A few questions to pin down the issue here.

  1. Are you using static or dynamic IP addressing?
  2. Does the test online address pass or does only the establishing WAN connection pass?
  3. Does UDP pass?
  4. What firmware revision are you currently on?

The answers to your questions:

  1. Yes I am using static IP adressing
  2. Yes it passes the "test online adress and WAN connection test
  3. Yes it passes the UDP test in the beginning of the Talk2M configuration
  4. My ebuddy firmware is 12.1s2 and ecatcher is 6.3.5

Unfortunately no further follow-up was submitted on this case as requested.

In certain firmware versions 11.1s0 and 11.1s2, a bug can cause the wizard to fail as described here. In any event, updating the firmware is a good intial test. Now I cannot say that is the case here as I was unable to do any additional follow up however that is the most likely culprit.

It is also important that all servers and ports are accessible by the eWON in Talk2M.
