I have Profibus DP device. But i only find IO servers for SIEMENS PLC in the Flexy 203 gateway. Is it at all possible to read data from Profibus DP device using Flexy 203?

It is KUHNKE Scout panel PC running linux with an recently added Profibus board. It does not show up in active nodes search while in IO server configuration window.

OK, it does need to be a PLC to communicate with the Flexy I/O server.
So basically i will need a different approach altogether? Flexy 203 will not do in my case?
I guess I would need to know more about what you are trying to do. Read tags? Remote access? etc. You will need to have a PLC to use the Profibus I/O server on the Flexy. You could directly connect your device to the flexy with an ethernet network card for remote access. What model device and what is the application you are using it for?
