it is possible to install the eCatcher silently?
Because the installation is an MSI package, the “standard parameters” of the command line should work.
Is it also possible to disable the option to install the USB extension this way?
Has anyone here any experience or are there any examples or documentation?
Yes, you can do a silent install. Here are the options:

Consult the Windows ® Installer SDK for additional documentation on the
command line syntax.
For example:
msiexec.exe /i mypackage.msi /qn
should work for the silent install.
The USB extension is installed by default and I don’t believe it can be disabled.

With these we had tested it - only the question came up if there is a “special” parameter for the USB extension.
