Customer inquiry:
Following some tests carried out in the workshop, we have confirmed that the outgoing error code during an HJ (water failure) on the VRVW model unit: RWEQ144TATJU is translated by a code 78 to the intesis. Unfortunately when we check on the Intesis error list this code 78 is associated with code J6 instead of HJ. We are now wondering if it would be possible to modify the error code list or create a new one for the VRVW so that we can provide an updated list to our customers? Our other question is: are there other error codes that do not correspond to those coming out of the VRVW?

First of all, the RWEQ144TATJU model is not listed in our compatibility list. Even the device has the P1P2 connector, it doesn’t means we are compatible with.
This model is a Daikin hydrobox that can be combined with a VRV system. In other words, this works as an “outdoor unit” and also, in the same installation, it can have some indoor units working OK with our DK-RC-BAC-1 gateways.
The case is that the gateway has not been tested with these models. We are aware that perhaps some control can be done but surely there are many signals that you will miss and others that are left over from the signals that we offer with this gateway.
Regardin the error “mistake”, I suspect that yes, this model might have errors that do not correspond to the VRV units, simply because hydrobox machines could have other types of failures. So you can not trust in the errors shown/received at 100%, only in those you can do double check and without Intesis support because we are not compatible with this model.
As is not an indoor compatible unit perhaps we probably wouldn’t even know that the machine is reporting an error.
