M2Web doesn't work but eCatcher does

Hello,
I have two panels both with individual Flexy 205’s and Red Lion HMI’s. I have no problem accessing the HMI through eCatcher but not M2Web. I can get to the HMI’s main webserver screen but when I hit the button to navigate to the default window, it never opens.

I’ve tried to make the HMI’s Gateway address the same as the eWon’s LAN. I also tried to reset the eWon to no avail. Any ideas?

Can you check if the connection works through the phone app eCatcher Mobile?

Yes- I can access both panels via phone eCatcher app.

There’s an issue with the proxy of HTML 5 that seems to cause conflicts with the proxy that was used in M2Web. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like M2Web will work with this device

That sounds pretty final. Is this a known issue with Red Lion HMI panels?

We’ve seen this issue with some newer HMIs but I can try and create a ticket with our colleagues over in Belgium to see if we can get it working

Yes. I would rather have the customer be able to use M2Web vs. eCatcher if possible.

You should be getting an email for the support ticket soon. Can you respond to that ticket and let me know some more information about the account and hmi?

Will do- Thank you.
