Customer called in regarding polling mulitple modbus devices over serial connection. The customer is experiencing severe delays when polling the data. The customer is going to try switch to Eth/IP for the a connection to mitigate the delay he is experiencing. I will try to find some data regarding latency time for Modbus communication.
