My tags pulled from plc have been limited

I pulled nearly 1500 tags from a siemen s7-1200 plc and it started to have problem from tag 1015 onward
Do you have any idea why this occur?

Hello,

While the our Tag Max size is 1500, we do recommend that you stay under around 350. The sampling rate for each Tag can cause issues for processing so given the number tags with Polling, the Flexy will not be able to handle that number without issues occuring.

Can the Flexy be upgraded with more memory to handle more tages?

600 tags could be a lot for the device to handle depending on how often the tags are polling. [image] That being said, we have an actual limit of 1500 tags per IO server, or 2500 tags total with a Flexy. I don’t think having the Ewon post to the IIS server should take up much memory, but depending on how fast you poll the tags and how many of the tags you’re polling. This page should give you an idea on how much data you’ll be able to record before running into FIFO

You can disable tags in error in our general IO settings. This will show what tags in particular could be causing errors.

I have a similar problem.
I have to create 1,725 tags, but the memory isnt enougth, at this moment i have 1,234 and this is the memory status.

My question… Can I add a SDcard for solve this problem?

Hello,

The SD cards are primarily used for USR directory or for configuring the unit.

You can adjust the recording memory under Setup->System->Storage-> Memory Settings

This may increase the data transmission. However, given the high number of tags on the unit. It may not cause a significant increase in performance.
