Are you plugged into the LAN side of tyhe Ewon?

Can you ping the IP of the ewon?

If not, check your ethernet adapater, and ensure that it is in the same subnet of the Ewon 2005 CD

Were you able to get to the page? Also you can use eBuddy to open the browser as well.

No I still dealing to open the page. In fact, I had tried to open the browser from eBuddy but not success.

I turn off the firewall from anti virus but still not open the page???

hmm, the firewall should not be affecting the connection of the unit.

Can you try the following URL

[IP]/index.shtm

I tried but still not working. I got something to tell you when use eBuddy and try to change the IP address pop up the following warning message::

The eWON identification failed
and asked me:
Are you sure the Serial Number is correct (XXXXXX)?
Are you connect through then LAN interface green of the eWON?
Duplicate IP on the LAN (USR LED red)?

just wonder if I need to reset it by the factory and try to set the IP address and see what happens?

What do you think about this?

I had tried what you said IP/index.shtm but is not working???

Hello,

You can try to factory reset the unit.

Were you able to open the browser prior to the IP Change?

I’d tried to factory reset but holding the reset button for 20 seconds and release it won’t change anything. I mean on LED’s I wonder if my unit is good. I bought this long time ago it was used but now is when I tried to use it but is not working. What do you think I can do to test it? or send it to somewhere to third party do it?

Hello,

I would reach out to your distributor that you purchased this unit from to see if they can restore functionality. This device is considered a legacy product, so it may not be covered under warranty.

Unfrotunately, if the device is not responding to local connections and not responding to factory resets. The unit may be non functioning.

The Serial Number is 1434-0063-59
eWON 2005CD/HSUPA

I would like to see the unit functionality maybe with a distributor is that possible? even if I have to pay for it. I don’t want to discard this unit.

Hello,

You will need to reach out to the distributor that you purchased this unit from. I do not have access to the sale records for this information.

Customer service may have this information, but due to the age of this unit. It may be difficult to find that information.
