Old anybus-s ethernet HMS2204-131 failure

I have two old Thamas Swan Epsion sensors which use Anybus-S Ethernet cards. One card is completely inactive and the other has a flashing watchdog LED with both the red and green LEDs flashing at 1hz. I have checked pins 1 and 5 which are at 4.9V.

I’m working on finding a fix or a workaround, the rest of the sensors seem functional from the status LEDs on those boards. I would appreciate any help in fixing or replacing the ethernet while still plugging in to the Anybus-S interface that the Epison expects.

Thanks!

Hello @bghagar,

You will need to reach out to the OEM, Thamas Swan Epsion, to trouble shoot this device. Their host machine would be the device that is setting up the Anybus-s cards and should be able to provide trouble shooting support. We don’t know enough about the configuration to provide useful support for this device.

If the card is damaged you will also be required to go though them for any RMA needed.
