Questions about Flexy/eWON CD

Hello team,

One of our customers is transitioning between the eWON CD to the Flexy, and he is very knowledgeable using scripts. He came up with a few questions:

1 – Is it possible to monitor the available space in the Flexy for historic data?

2 – The customer is using scripting to change the logging interval of historic data to optimize the space. For example, when the machine is starting up, the customer needs more data resolution. When it is running, he does not need to log very often so the idea is to save space and avoid non-relevant data. However, the logging is inconsistent. Take a look at the example below, when the interval is configured for 60 seconds:

The first five logs are consistent with the interval. However, the one on the second yellow line happened 16 seconds after the previous one, and not 60. The attached files shows other examples, and the .tar has the backup of the script he is running. Is there a way we can help him?

Hi Eduardo,

Would it be possible for him to try and move his code from the Cyclic section into the Init section and see if that helps with this. We’ve seen a lot of issues with scripts run in the Cyclic section because the code will run once every processor cycle.

Hello Tim,

Thanks. Just to let you know that it worked just fine after the customer made the change.

Best regards**,**
