It is difficult to say why the request is failing with the limited information provided. You are only providing the error message from the log. Perhaps with a full backup we can provide more info. Even then this could be an issue with the call you are making or the server that you are making to call to.
If you can provide a complete backup from ebuddy with support files I can take a look and see if I spot any errors. Have you tested the call you are trying to make with something like postman?

I just checked with Tim regarding this issue. According to him this issue was tracked down to be related to the request being made to quickly in you loop.
