Reset a Cosy

Hi, can anyone help please.
We purchased a used piece of machinery with an cozy ewon 131, since we dont have any password or user information on it, can we put it back to factory default? And reuse it. What is needed to used it again? Im a first time user for ewon, i dont know if its a brick if you dont have certain information. Help please

You can factory reset the Cosy, but since it sounds like it has already been setup then you might run into the issue with the device already being tied to an account. This will show as a message of “access Denied” when running one of the wizards. If that is the case you will want to reach out to the company you bought the machine from and ask them to remove the device.

Here are the steps so you can try a factory reset.

Are you saying theres no way to perform factory reset if tied in to a system. Unfortunately i dont have the oem info.

If you create a support ticket and include the serial number for the device we can provide the company that we sold it to so you can ask them about removing the device from the account.

We dont have that info, it was an auction machine as is.
What other way is there?
Does that mean we have a brick module?

The serial number is on a sticker on the side of the device you will need that for the support ticket.

That is the serial number to use in the ticket. We cannot help with this on the forum.

Is there a possibility that it can be fixed? Has it happen before? Just curious of what options are there before adding amount of time to this. Thank you
