Server Addresses

Hello,
we have problems with eCatcher. It runs in a DMZ and doesn’t connect with a router in Indonesia. The router runs via VPN15. In our firewall doesn’t accept wildcard, so we enabled ports TCP443 and UDP1194 for all client.vpn1.talk2m.com to client.vpn26.talk2m.com. Connections to other parts of the world work well.
In the firewall we observed that ecatcher tries to connect with 202.111.38.18, a Chinese server. client.vpn15.talk2m.com has 202.111.38.19. So I wonder what 202.111.38.18 is. Using DNS requests, both server don’t reply with vpnx.talk2m… but with 18.38.111.202.broad.sz.js.dynamic.163data.com.cn. Unfortunately the hms server lists are not current at the moment, the latest was from 12/2017.
So what kind of server is 202.111.38.18?

@breitenc

Due to firewall restrictions in China, we also have an NAP server specifically for that region.

China
202.111.38.18 - NAP server
202.111.38.19 - client VPN (eCatcher)
202.111.38.20 - device (eWON)

Thank’s a lot! Does the 202.111.38.18 have a DNS name in the eWON universe? Are there any lists of eWON servers that are kept current?

The 202.111.38.18 IPs hostname is sclient.vpn15.talk2m.com

Our latest list of our servers is located here:

This list is from a year ago so it’s not completely up to date. We recommend whitelisting *.talk2m.com if possible to avoid issues in the future.
