Is there any known way to set up text message/email alarms with the Siemens S7-1200 and S7-1500 and a Flexy 205? Most of the documentation on the subject matter is outdated (ie. the GUI is much different in the 205). I see the Modbus, S73&400, & S7200 communication options, but nothing regarding the 1200 or 1500 CPUs.
While the UI may have updated, the actual steps and functionality are exactly the same. The only difference is that you must navigate to the VALUES screen to create the tags.
Additionally the S7-1200 and 1500 use the S7-3&400 driver.
