Slow upload speed

My client has an eWon Cosy 131 with Ethernet connection, connected to a PLC in Austria and claims upload speeds are as low as 3 kb/s when he tries to upload changes to the control program.

Is it normal that the upload speed is that low ?

Do you know the eCatcher account name associated with the device?
Also, do you know which type of WAN the device is using?

A backup of the eWON device (including support files) will definitely help us troubleshoot the device as it allow me to see the logs. Is it possible for you to upload a backup of the eWON (including support files)?

The eCatcher account is impack. The WAN is Ethernet.

Where is your customer connecting from?

This backup only has the program.bas file.
Did you use eBuddy to create this backup (including support files)?

My customer is connecting from Saint-Jacques near Montreal.

I’m not sure how he created the backup file. I’ll send him the pdf tutorial so that he creates it with support files.

Update:

Spoke with the customer, and we found that the VPN server was located in the US while the device is in Austria. Changing the VPN server to a European location should help with upload speeds.
