Unique WAN Address, but same LAN Address as other eWons

I am looking at installing 6 eWon Cosy routers on 6 existing machines. These machines are duplicates…the PLC, HMI, robots, etc are the same IP addresses from machine to machine. For example, the PLC’s IP address is 192.168.1.10 on all 6 machines. All 6 machines will be connected to the same WAN (all on the same manufacturing floor).

If the 6 eWon routers have unique IP addresses on the WAN-side, then will it matter that the LAN-side addresses are the same as another eWon’s LAN-side IP addresses?

Thanks in advance.

If all the machines that a single Ewon device is trying to connect to have the same IP address then you will get an IP clash since it cannot tell which of them you are trying to access. If the machines are isolated from one another and the Ewon only can access one of them then there will not be a problem.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like I shouldn’t have any issues then. Each machine will have its own individual eWON with a unique WAN address.
