Urgent! -Cosy 141 support

Greetings,

The device is a Cosy 141. It has been offline and the certificate has not been updated. The customer has connected it to the internet, but it does not update or become visible in eCather. How do they update the certificate so that it will connect to the Talk2M server?

You can see it has an internet connection, but the key, Talk2M, and user lights are still off.

Please advise the process to update the router.

Hi Bruce,

In eCatcher you will have to go to the properties of the device and select duplicate. You will then delete the original and use the duplicates activation key to update the certificate.

I duplicated and deleted the original. I have the activation key. But…how do I access the router when it is offline, 1000 miles away, to give it the key?

Since it is a 141 updating needs to be done with a connection on the LAN side and rerun talk2m wizard to enter the new key. You can remote into a computer connected to the device or have someone locally connect a computer and enter the key.
