What is Network Interface Uptime defined as

We are having occasional communications drop outs on some Anybus controllers embedded in a Blue-White chemical pump that is talking Ethernet I/P to a AB ControlLogix PLC. The time of the communications loss corresponds directly with the Uptime. What is the uptime? Is it the time since power cycle or a reboot? We have 15 of these pumps and they each randomly loose communications for 25-30 seconds. I was wondering if this is a reboot or not. Also is the firmware 2.17 Build 1 a good version?

Hello @rocketman,

The up time should be the uptime for the CompactCom itself and not the host process. It would be getting cleared when the CC lost power. I recommend reaching out the the OEM for details about the host application. It looks like there might be a New firmware version for the compact com but the update for your device would need to come from the OEM and not directly from us.
