eCatcher 6.3.5 pop up messages when creating VPN Tunnel

I get this series of popup / dialog boxes when initiating a tunnel.

I did some digging, and found that this error is typically related to Siemens SIMATIC device drivers and VPNs.

A few solutions that I found from that thread are the following:

Disabling virtual net adapter
Updating NIC drivers
Updating SIMATIC Manager (STEP7)

Joe’s assessment was right on, this was a Siemens issue. I had Simatic installed on the computer and when it was removed the pop-ups stopped.
