eCatcher Connection Error

Customer is getting this error when they try to connect to an eWon. Any ideas what the error means?

State wait errors can occur if ports are being restricted on the client’s network or if a socket is closing.

  1. I would start by forcing TCP in eCatcher
    Forcing eCatcher to TCP

If that doesn’t resolve the issue then:

  1. Try using a different network (phone hotspot or guest wifi)

  2. Additionally, ensure the eCatcher files are not altered by replacing the talk2mclient.ovpn file or installing/reinstalling 6.3.5 on the customer’s PC

  3. If all 3 steps above do not resolve the issue then issue is most likely local to the PC with an anti-virus or firewall restricting traffic in eCatcher
